To start 2012 with a bang, how would you like to win the chance of a lifetime to run 100m in the Olympic Stadium in London watched by a cheering crowd of 20,000 along with Team GB Legends, celebrity ambassadors and over 150 UK charities?!
On 1st April 2012, a unique Olympic Event is being held in the Olympic Stadium with the opportunity to actually run on the Olympic track. We have two amazing Race Lane Prizes worth £2,500 each to give away so it really could be you! The prize includes:
- A fan-fair, publicity send-off from Poole/Bournemouth on 1st April
- Entry to the Olympic Park via F10 Bridge
- Fast-track runner entry through security
- Pre-race warm up with an athlete on the indoor track
- Entrance to the stadium via the official athlete route
- 1 lane in a 100m race, photo finish & goody bag
- 1 guest pass for a stadium seat
All you need to do to win one of the packages above is get a team together to take part in the 2012km Gold Challenge to cumulatively cover a distance of 2012km (or 201.2km...) by the end of 2012. Run, swim, cycle, walk or even row, canoe or ride a horse ... it’s entirely up to you! The two teams who raise the most sponsorship for us by Friday 24th February 2012 will win the places on the track. All remaining entrants will also automatically be entered into a ballot for running places.
Remember, you will have all year to complete the fun 2012km Challenge but you need to start your fundraising soon to win a place on the Olympic running track at the big event this April.
It’s great fun, it’s team-building and it’s your chance to play a unique role in the greatest show on earth. Plus, by fundraising you will be providing invaluable support for us.
