Thank you for considering a donation. We are an independent local Dorset charity, not part of any national charity, and rely on donations to support the work we do, particularly for funding equipment, purchasing new properties and ongoing maintenance and repairs.

C. Are you getting married? Celebrating an anniversary or a milestone birthday? One of the ways you can fundraise on JustGiving is by asking your friends, family and guests to make a donation to your favourite charity instead of buying you a present.

Click Just Giving button to view the benefits; click on the button "Create a fundraising page" above, to set up your page.

D. "In memory" pages; creating a fundraising page in memory of someone is a powerful way for friends and family to honour them by donating to a cause they cared about. Want to give by creating an "In Memory" fundraising page? Click on the button below:

E. Just Text Giving - If you would like to donate the easiest way is by using your mobile phone.  Simply send a text message to 70070 including our code - PLUS15 and a monetary amount.  You can donate £1,£2,£3,£4,£5, or £10 - e.g 'PLUS15£10' to 70070.  After you have sent the text you'll receive a confirmation text back containing details on how to add Gift Aid, meaning that Diverse Abilities Plus could benefit from an extra 25%.  This service is free for Diverse Abilities Plus and anyone on any mobile network can use it to donate to the charity for free.  Your donation will be deducted from your mobile phone credit, or added to your monthly phone bill.  You won't be charged for the text message either.

EBAY

 

To raise funds through ebay just decide what you want to sell; list all items the same way as you ordinarily would and follow the instructions below. You are able to give anything up to 100% of any sale. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY.

In the form where you create your listing, scroll to the eBay Giving Works section.

Select Diverse Abilities Plus from the options provided.

Select a percentage from the Donation percentage drop-down menu.

Read and accept the terms and conditions.

Select the check box below the terms and conditions if you would like us to pass your contact details to the non-profit you have selected (Non-profits are always given your full name)

Complete the listing form as instructed.

GIFT AID

 

If you are a UK tax payer, Diverse Abilities Plus can reclaim tax on your donation from HM Revenue & Customs.  To be eligible for gift aid you must have paid enough tax in the tax year in question to cover the amount that Diverse Abilities Plus will reclaim.

A GIFT AID FORM can be downloaded or simply email us stating that "you wish Diverse Abilities Plus to treat all donations from the date of this email as Gift Aid donations" with your name and address.

If you are a taxpayer we can reclaim 28p for every £ donated so it is well worth doing!
